R2D2PC is a silent mini server which has been built around the Mini-ITX form factor. It has been running continuously on OpenBSD for more than 14 years. Among other things, it functions as a cable router, firewall, Wireless Access Point, email and Web server. All components have been specifically selected for silent and power-saving operation. A silent, low-speed fan ensures a stable operating temperature inside R2D2PC's case. The operating system is installed on a CompactFlash card. At idle, R2D2PC consumes only 20 watts of power.
